Vision

The design, development, construction and installation of water filtering devices appropriate for the developing world using natural systems and locally available materials which are economical, long lasting and have minimal environmental impact. 

To provide safe (potable) drinking water at minimum cost, without need for added chemicals or power, to those whose only water is unsafe due to biological contaminants, and to provide training in construction and maintenance of these units to those who will be using them.
